Lady Patty (1994 - 2020)

Patty was a 14.2 hand black Morgan mare, born on June 11, 1994. Sadly, she lost her battle with an acute colic on July 20th at the age of 26. She will always be part of the heart of Furnace Brook Farm and will be dearly missed.

Patty came to FBF in 2017 when she was donated to our program by our friend Leslie Kelley. Leslie adopted her from Morgan Safenet Foundation after Patty was rescued from a kill pen. Patty has certainly had some tough days in her life but she lived very well at FBF.

Patty was the star of our equine assisted mental health sessions -- she was a perfect example of resilience and determination in the face of hardship.
