Coming Home to the
Body with Horses
Six-Week Equine Somatic Healing Program
Reconnecting with Self, Horses, and the Living World
through Embodied Presence and Reciprocity.
This program invites small groups to cultivate a respectful and reciprocal relationship with horses, land, body, and breath. Through trauma-responsive practices, movement, and conversation, and time with horses, participants explore the living field of presence, allowing real-time experiences of fear, shame, tenderness, and connection to emerge and be felt.
Guiding Principles
-
Safety Before Depth: We establish a foundation of safety to allow authentic exploration.
-
Consent in All Directions: Every interaction is rooted in mutual respect and agreement.
-
The Body as Guide: We listen the the wisdom of the body as the primary teacher.
-
The Horse as Mirror, Not Savior: Horses reflect our inner states, offering insight without judgment.
-
Empowerment Through Embodiment: Participants reclaim their power by feeling and integrating their experiences.
-
Reciprocity with the Living World: We honor the land and horses as co-participants in our healing and offer healing in return.
-
Authenticity Over Performance: Show up as you are — this is a space for genuine exploration, not achievement.
